Since I was a kid, it was always been a dream to me to travel the whole world and to discover and learn new things. With that, when I had a chance I always choose to travel and discover to fulfill that dream of mine little by little.
Last September 30, 2017, I had the chance to go to Buda in Marilog District. My family and I together with my best friend and boyfriend decided to spend our day at Buda to relax. From Tagum City we traveled for about 1 hour to reach our first destination which is the Hills View Mountain Villa. We purposely traveled early so that we could catch the sea of clouds there. We arrived 5 in the morning and the moment I stepped out of the car, I felt the cold breeze hugging me and there was a peaceful and calm ambiance in the place. The entrance fee is just 50 pesos which is very worth it. The road going to the top is not that good, it is very hard but when you reach to the top it is very worth it. Hills View Mountain Villa is located at Datu Salumay Village, Davao-Bukidnon Highway (BUDA), Marilog Distric, Davao del Sur. It is an exclusive rest house built on top of the mountains with a very relaxing scenery overlooking the wonderful view of nature. With its breezy air blowing around all the corners of the place, you’ll never feel the heat of the sun touching your skin.
The best spot of the place is the veranda where you can do sightseeing over the clouds and take photos with beautiful sea of clouds as your background. You can relax there and admire the beauty of the place. There are also plenty of tables and couches where you can relax and even dine as well with your family, friends, and even your special someone. If ever you want to spent a day or two there, they also have house to be rented for P6000 overnight good for 15 pax.
We spent almost 4 hours there just talking, relaxing, and admiring the beauty of the place. After that we used our remaining time to discover new places there and to relax and enjoy.
It is very fulfilling to travel to different places and discover and see the beauty of our world. Life is short and the world is wide, we only live once so we better make the most out of it.
